  thats pretty much it....my at home son seems so much younger than he should be...he is now 20 but hangs with much youger dubs...and has no girlfriend to date.

  i had like ten by then and had done everything but impregnate a girl................................what the hey is going on here?....................................oompa..

  That's pretty normal for a Pioneer/Servant dude who "puts the Kingdom first." I was 23 when I finally got time for a girlfriend. {I was ahead in Pioneering hours for the month}

  Australia Bethel Sister suicide due to health problems is this justified??

  bethel = about 4 years ago a former pioneer / bethel sisiter and husband had to leave due to bad health and move to the suburbs.

  some time ago while working on some "worldly" job some shelves hit her in the back causing server injury.

  she suffered with her pain till she could not stand it any more.

  For the record; I don't agree with R.Crusoe Who said MENTAL or physical problems are an excuse for suicide. Mental problems {e.g feeling suicidal, or depression} is a sickness but not a terminal one! This condition can be treated with drugs and counceling, which I fully support Mental illness effects many people in society and can most times be fixed. I was refering to TERMINALY ILL PATIENTS who have no chance of survival and are nearing death, but are in a fit state of mind.

  i'm saying this because the jw's always told me that they would give their lives for any brother or sister......can you feel the love... so, i was wondering if we have just as much love on jwd.

  No Way!!! With Armagedon soooo close they won't have TIME to finish this expansion!!! Surely the governing $$$$ Body doesn't lack faith by saying the End is still many years away. When they began building Patterson Education Center I though there IS NO WAY it will be finished before Armagedon...I bet my life and future on it!!..... Well I'll be damned!....literally....it was finished....I feel like a bit of a D##K. {not Dork}

  2 years ago i left jws.

  i went to a baptist church because it was what my husband was.

  i knew i wanted to go to church but which one i really didn't know yet.. two years later, i think i have made up my mind: presbyterian.. anyone have anything they want to share?

  Whatever makes you and your family happy is a good thing! In Australia the Presbyterians merged with the Congregationalist church to form one religion "The Uniting Church." Some individual churches however have chosen not to merge.

  It's not coming soon because since the Cold War ended NO ONE KNOWS WHO IS THE KING OF THE NORTH AND THE KING OF THE SOUTH. I mean come on, prophets!!! 1989-2008. Nearly 20 years and still no one is brave enough to make a Watchtower offical statement. We need to get Fred Franz out of Crio-Freeze and use his brain to continue these True lies. The Witnesses are loosing focus.

  still considering going back to meetings...

  not that i want to or anything, but this therapist guy seems to think that it would be really helpful to my wife.

  he says to pull out the good and ignore what you dont like, and that supporting my wife a bit in this way could be good for us as a couple.

  it could also let us have at least some shot at keeping the old social life alive.

  Like Sweetstuff said; If you go back to the meetings I'm gonna have to {{Smack]] you one Ommpa. But it's out of love that I would give you a beating. It would hurt me more then you...at least my fists....you'll be like one of those Sisters "My husband beat me but I still went to meetings"......but reversed!!

  What's YOUR personal opinion...Okay let me begin. If I was suffering from say terminal Liver cancer. I would not want to suffer for weeks in a hospital hooked up to tubes and machines. There are more peaceful ways to go....go to Las Vegas and party...see old friends and family and then D.I.Y.

Some time ago while working on some "worldly" job some shelves hit her in the back causing server injury. She suffered with her pain till she could not stand it any more. One day her husband was at work when he could not reach her on the phone. He though this very worrying since she never left the house. He rushed home, only to find she had Gassed herself in the garage. This was very sad and tragic. A Brother paid for the husband to go on vacation which I thought was nice. The Watchtower policy says that suicide is "self murder. But, if someone is suffering un-controlable pain isn't this justified?
